Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in ITF R&D project as assigned
• AI (deep learning / machine learning) algorithms development
• Image processing algorithms & software development
• 3D Vision algorithms & software development
• Optics design: Illumination optics & image optics design & development
• Nano-Photonic design & fabrication process
• Electrical driving, MCU / FPGA firmware development
• Thermal-Mechanical design & simulation
Requirements:
• Graduate in STEM-related discipline such as Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering and Mathematics or relevant discipline
• A bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or a doctoral degree’s holder is welcome to apply
• For bachelor’s degree holder, they will be considered for the position of Engineering Associate (PI) • Experience with two or more of the program languages: C/C++, C#, Python, Java, Kotlin, etc. for image processing, 3D vision & AI algorithms & software development • Experiences in PCB schematic & layout design, mixed signal IC design, digital & analog signal processing and familiar with EDA software such as Altium/Cadence/Mentor/Synopsys, etc • Familiar with EE equipment like oscilloscope, multimeter, etc for electrical design • Knowledge with optical design software tools such as Zemax, CodeV, LightTools or TracePro, etc for optics and Nano-Photonic design • Good command of written and spoken English or Chinese • Self-motivated and good communication skills
Working Location:
Photonics Centre, 2 Science Park East Avenue, Hong Kong Science Park, Shatin, Hong Kong, China.

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
