Job Title: Analyst (Contract) - Debt Capital Markets (6-month contract)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our Debt Capital Markets team in HK on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will support the origination and execution of debt transactions, including bonds and
liability management exercises, across Greater China. The role requires immediate availability, and able to
work in the HK office 5-days a week.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of market update, pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials for clients.
• Conduct market research and analysis on debt instruments, issuers, and investor trends.
• Support transaction execution, including documentation review, pricing analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor primary and secondary debt markets to provide timely updates to the team.
• Maintain databases and prepare regular market updates for internal and client use.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Arrange investor roadshow and meetings logistics
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or related financial services preferred (internship experience considered).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of debt products (bonds, loans, structured products) and financial markets.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is an advantage.
