Based in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and Shenzhen, GSG covers the PRC Mainland and Hong Kong stock markets, advising institutional investors, PE/VC management, and company boards on corporate governance, proxy voting, as well as broader ESG and sustainable investment and compliance issues.
Internship Position
Seeking young talented professionals committed to the legal, financial and governance industries for a 3 to 6-month internship.
Job requirements:
The right candidate will have top legal, financial (or accounting) and technical acumen to help clients (such as CFOs, CEOs, asset managers, etc. in Greater China) improve their company’s performance. You will work on projects involving various AI technology. Projects may involve cybersecurity, data protection, corporate investigations, and more. In addition, you will gain an in-depth understanding of our customer business models and systems.
Roles and responsibility:
• Assist in data collection, processing and analysis to support database development
• Understand the difference between the regulatory system of PRC mainland and Hong Kong stock market
• Research, collect and compile information for proposals of shareholder meetings
• Track and provide regular review on governance-related news and events
Candidates who meet at least a majority of the following requirements will be considered:
• Finance or Law degree from a well-known school along with an excellent academic performance
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience in project management and/or technology
• Desire to acquire skills beyond the law or finance (e.g. technology + finance / accounting)
• Have legal and financial writing and analysis skills
• Native Chinese background and strong English skills

我们希望候选人的背景满足以下要求：
- 就读知名学校的法律、金融、会计或相关专业，并有优秀的学业成绩
- 精通MS PowerPoint和Excel
