Duties will include:
1. Deliver quality actuarial audit services, covering life insurance, general insurance and pension;
2. Perform financial due diligence assistance in transaction projects;
3. Provide actuarial related advisory services, including appointed actuary service, actuarial modelling, product development, valuation, internal audit, etc.
Responsibilities:
4. Perform actuarial audits in support of the audits of financial statements in a variety of GAAPs such as HKFRS, IFRS, PRC GAAP, US GAAP, and European standards;
5. Review the actuarial basis, methods, assumptions and related practice;
6. Review and analyse the actuarial technical works, including but not limited to the computation of reserve, embedded value, value of a new business, source of earning, etc.
7. Identify and help resolve complex audit and actuarial issues;
8. Manage or participate in projects to deliver quality audits and advisory services;
9. Conduct the necessary research on the market trend, industry innovation, etc.
10. Meet with clients regularly to obtain updates on their business, discussing issues, presenting key findings, and making practical recommendations;
11. Support Audit and Advisory professionals;
12. Play a key role in preparing presentations, proposal, and actuarial reports;
13. Deliver high-quality work assigned by patterns and director in a timely manner.
