TRANSLATOR
Responsibilities:
• Translate international / financial news from English to Chinese.
• Write, edit and update news stories.
Requirements:
• Self-motivate, able to work independently
• 24-hour shift duties are required; willing to work on overnight shift is preferred;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is a MUST.
• Proficient knowledge of Foreign language other than English is definite an asset.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as higher position.
Simultaneous Interpreter/Sub-Editor
Responsibilities:
• Translate financial / international news from English to Chinese.
• Write, edit and update news stories.
• Simultaneous interpret news broadcasting, speech, news conference from English to Chinese
Requirements:
• Hands on experience in news translation from English to Chinese.
• Self-motivate, able to work independently.
• 24-hour shift duties are required; willing to work on overnight shift is preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
• Proficient knowledge of Foreign language other than English is definite an asset.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Translator.
