Job Responsibilities

 

-       Responsible for mechanical and structural designs, from conceptual design, CAD drawing, prototyping, to manufacture and assembly of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)

-       Perform load calculations to determine sizing of actuators, transmissions, and bearing elements

-       Mechanism design which includes bearings, gears, motors, springs, and other approaches.

-       Apply analytical methods including calculations and simulations for the design and optimization of structures and mechanical components

-       Perform tolerance analysis to determine system impacts of assembly fits and backlash

-       Review mechanical & structural designs, in terms of safety & functionality, material selection & cost, tolerance & reliability, manufacturing and assembly processes

-       Prepare documentations related to the design, BOM, assembly, testing, and maintenance during the product development cycle

-       Collaborate with team members, factory and suppliers to achieve the project target

 

Job Requirements

-       Bachelor Degree or Higher degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering or relevant disciplines with minimum 3 years of related experience.

-       Experience on robotic, automation system development with a quality mindset for design, build and test the entire product that satisfy the safety, functional, and cost constraints requirements

-       Proficiency in CAD design software, such as SolidWorks and Pro/ENGINEER with practical experience in FEA Stress Analysis of robot components in statics and dynamics conditions

-       Practical experience on robot components selection, sourcing and tolerance allocation

-       Good interpersonal, presentation, communication and troubleshooting skills essential

-       Mature, self-motivated team player, systematic approach with excellence time and project management skills
