WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will benefit from a number of training modules we have developed to address the fundamental skills required of this profession. In addition to gaining an understanding of the industry and first-hand experience of working closely with the team, you can expect to develop confidence, critical and marketable skills by engaging in or assisting with many of the following activities:
•Preparing different types of communication materials, e.g. press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, briefing documents, fact sheets, executive biographies
•Contributing to the agency’s social media platforms
•Participating in strategy meetings, brainstorming sessions, media interviews, events and research studies
•Conducting research and analysis using the latest research tools
•Building relationships with journalist, bloggers, and other members of the media
•Assisting in planning and execution of photo shoots and special events
•Supporting with the management of crises and learn how to respond in an effective manner
