Amazon’s Global Sourcing team is looking for customer-obsessed intern to lead initiatives to drive product and factory excellence. The duration of the internship will be at least 24 weeks. The intern will work in the Amazon Global Sourcing office in Nanshan, Shenzhen.
The successful candidate will have basic knowledge in manufacturing and quality management, enjoy diving deep into data, identifying insights and able to drive factory for product and process improvement on the ground. The ideal candidate will thrive in a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, have excellent learning capability, and a strong will to get things done and deliver results. Finally, the candidate must also be a strong communicator, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively.

Primary Responsibility Include:
Analyze data to identify opportunities in product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Drive factory for improvement;
Redesign templates and develop tools to simplify operation and data collection for Amazon quality initiatives (factory quality audit, product inspection and testing, customer love metrics monitoring).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate between Jun 2025 to Sept 2026, currently working towards a Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS) in Quality Management, Manufacturing Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or similar;
Excellent learning capabilities and adaptive. Excellent logical thinking;
Proficient in SQL and data analysis. Skilled in R and Python;
Fluent written and oral communication skills in English;
Work 4 to 5 days per week for at least 5 to 6 months
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Good in Mathematical Statistics (regression, theories of probability);
Knowledge in LLM and its application.
Ability to influence others, strong analytical skills.
